For two years, squatters had occupied this home where they sold drugs, allowed the home to fall into disrepair and let their aggressive dogs roam freely around the neighborhood. The NYPD had received several complaints about the illegal tenants, however, nothing seemed to be getting done.

Our office recently helped a young woman from Brooklyn reclaim $21,682 in student loan forgiveness after her check was stolen and fraudulently cashed.
After she contacted our office, we reached out to the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Bureau of Fiscal Services (BFS) on her behalf to initiate an investigation and work to reclaim the stolen funds.
Our office was able to have BFS reissue the check to her loan provider, which then refunded her the money via direct deposit to protect the funds from being stolen once again.
