STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A bipartisan group of Congress members announced Thursday that they’ll be pushing for the repeal of a tax deduction cap affecting the residents of high-tax states.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/South Brooklyn) joined 13 other Congress members in calling for the repeal of the $10,000 state and local tax (SALT) deduction cap put in place by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
