Staten Island and Brooklyn elementary school students in grades three through five were invited to participate and write essays about what they would do to improve their community if they were President of the United States.

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Today, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) announced that she has secured $11,276,560 for various projects across Staten Island and Southern Brooklyn as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2022, the federal government's operational budget. In July, Malliotakis was able to get funding for nine local projects reported out of the House Appropriations Committee. Today, the bill was passed out of the House.
