She said that they spoke about the ongoing humanitarian crisis at the nation’s southern border, and plans for addressing the nation’s infrastructure needs.
“I urged him to go to the border, to see what I saw, to hear what I heard,” Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/South Brooklyn) said. “This is something that is affecting the entire nation.”
