Malliotakis Steps in to Help Two Ferry Workers At Risk of Losing Employment

Sometimes government bureaucracy can even affect those serving our city and nation. Our office successfully  intervened to expedite the renewal applications of two constituents serving as workers on the Staten Island Ferry. These city employees would not have been able to retain their employment with the NYC Department of Transportation if we did not step in so they could get renewed documents approved in a timely manner by the U.S. Coast Guard. We were happy to have been able to cut through the red tape so they can continue their important work serving commuters and tourists on the nation’s most iconic ferry.
