Malliotakis Helps Family Secure Funeral with Military Honors; Gives Homeless Veteran Proper Burial

A constituent called our office after her father, a United States Army veteran, passed away and was looking for help securing military honors for his funeral.

Unfortunately, the constituent did not have the proper documentation to show proof of her father's military service and could not receive Military Funeral Honors for him.

My office stepped in, reached out to the National Personnel Records Center, and after working with the constituent and department we were able to secure military honors for the constituent's father in under three days.

Last year my office also helped a homeless veteran receive a proper burial at Calverton National Cemetery after the funeral home hit every roadblock possible with the federal government.
