Malliotakis Helps Constituent's Mother Receive Green Card After Years-Long Delay

Last month, a Staten Island constituent contacted our office for assistance with getting an update on his mother's Green Card case, as he had not received any information from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Last year he filed an I-130 form on behalf of his mother, an Indian immigrant, which was approved. In April, he filed an I-485 form to establish her permanent residency, to which he received a Request for Evidence. He uploaded all the documents to the USCIS portal but then received a letter of denial stating the documents were not received.
Our office reached out to USCIS on he and his mothers behalf and provided them with all the documents he initially submitted to the portal in April. Her case was eventually reopened and she received her green card last week!
