Malliotakis Helps Constituent Reinstate Medicare Part B Coverage

Our office recently helped a constituent reinstate their Medicare coverage after it was previously lost in September 2023.

The constituent was originally covered since 2007 for Medicare Part B coverage. After going to her doctor last year, she was informed that she did not have coverage. She was stuck paying out of pocket for mammograms, other medical tests, and doctor visits for over a year due to an error from the Social Security Administration. She visited SSA multiple times on her own without finding success, and as a result had to cancel necessary medical appointments.

Our office intervened in April, and we were able to get her Medicare Part B reinstated without any lapse in coverage, ensuring that she will be reimbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses.
