Malliotakis Helps Constituent Recover Owed Social Security Payments

Our office recently helped a constituent recover $11,000 in back payments from the Social Security Administration. 

This 94 year old was mistakenly declared deceased by Social Security in February, resulting in her monthly payments being suspended, and caused significant financial hardship.

After our office intervened, she informed us that the SSA called her to update her bank information, corrected her status, and was direct deposited $11,000 for the back payments owed.
