Malliotakis to White House: There is No Place for Ms. DeRosa on POTUS COVID-Response Team

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) today sent the below letter to White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain requesting the White House end its relationship with New York Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa who confirmed the Cuomo Administration intentionally withheld data from the state legislature regarding the number of coronavirus-related deaths in New York nursing homes. 

Ms. DeRosa currently serves as Senior Advisor to White House Counselor Steve Ricchetti, a longtime trusted aide of President Biden. Additionally, Ms. DeRosa served in key roles assisting the Biden Transition Team with crafting the administration’s COVID-19 response.
