Malliotakis: "New Yorkers Deserve Better"

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) today released the following statement restating her calls for Governor Cuomo to resign:

"The mounting sexual harassment allegations against Governor Cuomo are deeply disturbing and only add to the reasons why the governor needs to resign immediately. Whether it's his mismanagement of nursing homes or the underreporting of deaths that resulted, stonewalling the state legislature, threatening a state legislator, or his own chief of staff admitting to a coverup of data to avoid investigation, it's clear the governor has let New Yorkers down. This week's claims of sexual harassment by three women have only amplified it. The nursing home scandal has shown his failure as a governor and the sexual harassment has shown his failure as a person. New Yorkers deserve better."
