Malliotakis Launches Congressional App Challenge for 2022

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Today Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) announced her office will be participating in the Congressional App Challenge for 2022. The Congressional App Challenge is an annual nationwide competition sponsored by the Internet Education Foundation to inspire students to explore STEM, coding, and computer science through hands-on practice.
"I'm thrilled my office will once again be participating in the Congressional App Challenge," Malliotakis said. "This challenge inspires thousands of students to explore computer science, STEM, and expand their coding skills, all tools that will be useful to them as technology continues to advance. Last year my office received several extraordinary submissions focused on addressing local, national, and global issues, and I'm looking forward to reviewing this year's entries come November."
