Rep. Nicole Malliotakis wants to see authorities investigate a recent series of well-publicized incidents involving New York City horse carriages, she said Tuesday.

Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/South Brooklyn) joined City Councilman Bob Holden (D-Queens) in a letter to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig over the series of incidents, which was recently caught on video when a carriage horse collapsed in Manhattan.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis joined a Democratic colleague Monday in Manhattan to rail against the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA’s) congestion pricing plans.

Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/South Brooklyn) and Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) stood near the Lincoln Tunnel to decry the plans that could see car commuters pay more than $20 to enter Manhattan below 60th Street, an area the MTA is calling the “Central Business District.”

Iran announced sanctions on dozens of Americans over the weekend, including Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/South Brooklyn).

The sanctions on Malliotakis and 60 other Americans followed the congresswoman’s participation in the Free Iran Summit put on by the Organization of Iranian American Communities, which is opposed to the Iranian government that took control of the country following the 1979 revolution.

Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine on Wednesday urged the MTA to start hammering out details for its much-delayed plan to toll drivers entering Manhattan below 60th Street —as members of Congress pushed to influence the program through their control of federal dollars.

“The people of New York City need congestion pricing done, and they need it done right. That’s what our recommendations are about,” Levine told reporters during a press conference at East 60th Street and Fifth Avenue.
